Base64

Base64 is an encoding scheme used to encode Partially Signed Bitcoin Transactions (PSBTs).

Base64 is an encoding scheme used to encode Partially Signed Bitcoin Transactions (PSBTs). The Base64 alphabet uses 64 characters, including all upper and lowercase letters, the digits 0-9, and the ‘+’ and ‘/’ characters. Due to its long alphabet, Base64 can display data efficiently, but is less readable. Thus, Base64 is used to encode data that is not often read or transmitted by humans.
