GUIs are meant to hide the complexities of software and present the user with a simple, intuitive interface. Most applications which include a GUI can also be used without the GUI through the command line. Most Bitcoin software comes with a GUI, including Bitcoin Core, whose GUI is called Bitcoin-Qt. Most Bitcoin wallets provide GUIs as well.
