Maturity Date
The maturity date is the date on which the investor will receive the face value of a bond.
The maturity date is the date on which the investor will receive the face value of a bond. Interest stops accumulating on the maturity date, and any debt agreement dissolves. The maturity date marks the end of any investment contract, fiduciary duty, or other obligation between the parties.
