Technical Analysis

Technical analysis is a strategy of predicting the future price of an asset based on market data, such a price, volume, and open orders. Resistance and support levels are commonly referenced in technical analysis. Technical analysis is almost always used in an attempt to beat the market while trading assets. Unlike many other trading strategies, technical analysis does not consider news events that may be relevant to the asset. Technical analysis may be combined with fundamental analysis of news events as part of a sophisticated trading strategy.
