401(k) Rollover Outcome Modeler

Project the outcome of rolling a 401(k) into a Bitcoin IRA under four growth scenarios spanning conservative to aggressive. The calculator shows ending balance, total contributions, and cumulative custody fees for each scenario; the four scenarios are labeled as scenarios, not predictions. For the mechanics of the rollover process itself, see our 401(k) rollover guide.

These are scenarios, not predictions. The four growth assumptions span a wide range of plausible Bitcoin outcomes over the holding period; the calculator does not assign probabilities to any of them. Your actual outcome will depend on the path Bitcoin's price takes during the holding period and may differ substantially from any single scenario.

The model applies the assumed growth rate uniformly each year, which is a smoothing convention that does not capture Bitcoin's actual volatility. Real outcomes for similar long-horizon CAGRs may include significant intermediate drawdowns and recoveries.

The custody fee is applied as an annual percentage of year-end balance. Other fee structures (per-transaction, flat fee) are not modeled here; for a provider-specific cost comparison see the Bitcoin IRA Fee Calculator.
